Putin to Return to North Korea

In a partly shocking moment, Vladimir Putin has announced his intentions to revise North Korea, one of the world’s most devastating/grueling nations to be a part of. The strict regime has been anchored by Kim Jong Un and company.

Putin is thought to be desperate for more weapons in the long fight against Ukraine. Since instigating a war with the neighboring nation, Russia has depleted its sources significantly, meaning that they need an ally for munitions support. That ally it seems, is North Korea. The two sides have had great history with each other, as Russia’s communist ideals seemingly inspired North Korea’s regime government. While the two sides have had friendly meetings every so often, this is Putin’s first meeting in North Korea since 2000, when Kim’s father Kim Il Sung was still reigning the nation.

It will be interesting to see the overall aspect of how North Korea and Russia maintain other aspects of their relationship with this meeting. Although both sides firmly deny trading nuclear weapon heads (which is in fact illegal according to UN standards). However, if the two sides decide to get all friendly with economic relations as well (which has most certainly happened already), the rest of the world must watch with uneasiness.
